01 — About
I'm Rebecca, the artist behind Page Turners Artistry. With a BA (Hons) in Illustration and Animation, I have a background in visual storytelling and a particular love for fantasy literature, character design and the worlds found within books.
I specialise in fantasy character illustration, creating artwork inspired by the characters and fictional worlds that stay with us long after we've finished reading.
My work ranges from character portraits and fantasy banners to book covers and merchandise, with a focus on expressive characters, intricate details and thoughtful visual storytelling.
I also collaborate with authors and bookish creators on artwork for their characters, projects and audiences, from commissioned illustrations to designs inspired by favourite fictional worlds.
Page Turners Artistry brings together my formal training, my love of fantasy and my passion for illustration.

03 — The Process
Every illustration is a collaboration between creator and character. From initial concept to final high-resolution file, the process is built around the author's vision — delivering artwork that readers immediately recognize as the character they fell in love with.
Every commission begins with a deep dive into the character's story — their personality, world, and the author's vision. A detailed questionnaire captures every nuance before a single line is drawn.
Rough thumbnails explore pose, expression, and framing. Multiple compositions are presented for approval before committing to the final direction. This is where the character begins to breathe.
Clean, confident linework forms the architectural skeleton. Every detail — armor engravings, fabric folds, weapon hilts — is treated with the same precision as the face.
A cinematic color palette is built from the character's world. Light sources are carefully considered to give the piece atmosphere and emotional weight. Warm gold, cold shadow, magical glow.
The finishing pass adds texture, atmospheric depth, and all final polish. High-resolution files are delivered for both print and digital use, formatted for merchandise production.
05 — Usage & Licensing
All commissions come with a licence that fits your intended use. Not sure which applies to you? Mention your project in the inquiry form and I'll advise.
Personal Use
Ideal for readers and fans. Personal use commissions are for private enjoyment — profile pictures, wallpapers, printed art for your home, or gifts for friends. Sharing on social media with credit is warmly welcomed.
Commercial Use
For authors, publishers, and creative businesses. A commercial licence covers use on book covers, merchandise, marketing materials, and digital products for sale. Pricing reflects the broader reach of the work.
Extended Licensing
Need something beyond the standard tiers? Extended licences are available for large print runs, brand identity projects, film & media adaptations, and exclusive rights. Get in touch to discuss your project.
All licences are non-transferable. Artwork remains the intellectual property of the artist.
